Most tennis shoes fail for two reasons. They are either heavy tanks that slow you down, or they are fragile fashion sneakers that shred on the first abrasive court.
We built the SUPACRITICAL to fix both. Light enough to move fast. An upper that locks your foot down so you don't roll an ankle on a sharp lateral cut. Real rubber meant for clay slides and hard-court friction. It won't bald out on you in week three.
The tank
A heavy shoe can last. It also makes you late to the ball. You feel it every time you have to cover the corner. Durability that costs you the point is not durability. It is a brick.
The fashion sneaker
Light. Pretty. Dead after the first abrasive court. The outsole balds. The toe blows. The cushioning goes flat. You bought a look, not a tennis shoe.
What we actually care about
Fit that holds. Cushioning that still pops in the third set. An outsole that is still there in month four.
Prototypes go on real courts with real players. If a pair rolls, hot-spots, or dies early, it does not ship.
Tennis first. Everything else waits.
